We took a walk up to Victoria Sweets. It was quite a successful trip. Sparrow carefully ate all the sprinkles off her biscuit then gave it to me.

The Eid festival, at the end of Ramadan, down on the local oval. Lots of people and happenings.

James bought this bubble-blower gun for Sparrow. It was a reasonable success, though she wasn't really able to work it yet. It didn't stop her trying.

I took Michael's camera to try it out, and shot this image of the flying origami creatures. Robin got cross with me for playing with the camera instead of him, and didn't approve of me taking pictures of him instead. So I gave Michael the camera back and picked him up. One little boy was instantly very happy. I call it the "sunrise" smile, because it's like his sun has just risen.
