Robin's fourth month, 11 July - 11 August, 2011

A collection of photos of things happening at home. Mostly quietly. But not always.

Enough clothes sorting, Mummy, pick me up.

I'm awake now, Mummy, pick me up.

I like this little jumper on him, it's a good colour for him. But he only wore it the once, it just wasn't the right kind of weather for it in the time that it fit.

Trying him in one of the suits the next size up. It fits well. So I began using the bigger suits.

And other clothes from the next box, such as this jumper and hat that Maggie knitted. I'm glad he's growing into them while it's cool. This month wasn't as cool and grey and wet as it's supposed to be normally.

Sleeping, peacefully.

Playing with Daddy.

Chilling out in the book room, in one of the "new" suits.

Hanging out in the garden. Robin likes being out here with me, and we had a run of really nice days.

Just pulling faces. He discovered he could poke his tongue at people this month, and immediately started using it as a way of communicating and interacting with people. Such a people person.

Oma has sent us new clothes! Here's one of the suits.

What's this? It's very curious. (And it's a nasturtium leaf.)

The other of the two new suits. Such lovely colours! Robin likes these fairy bears. So does Sparrow.

More pulling faces, and more clothes from the "new" box (they're hand-me-downs from Sparrow).

I think he looks a lot like his cousin Mimi in this photo.

Such a lot of smiles we get now. When I come find him on the change mat after leaving him to kick around for a bit he gives me this look like the sun has just risen. It's cute.

Of course, he thinks his fists are just as awesome. The suit is one of the new ones, I really like the colours but it's a spring-weather weight and style so he wore it this one day (when it was unusually sunny) and then it's been put away again because it's still too cold for it as a general rule. I will need to buy more winter-weight suits in this size as almost everything in the new box is spring-weight.
