Just having some chill out time in my animal cover.

Toothipeg! Sparrow has her first tooth at this point, but only just - and both Oma and Grandad are saying "Show us your toothipeg!" Sparrow is not entirely cooperating. I'd not heard the word before this, or maybe only just, and am still baffled by it a little.

Mat time - or towel time, rather - in the garden. Sparrow's quite pleased with herself about this hands and knees thing. Vincent is being told to get off and away fairly frequently too, he's not too impressed that the other small creature gets so much attention.

Oma brought out some things to play with. Sparrow quite enjoyed them, but was very disappointed that she wasn't allowed to chew on them. Wasn't that why she was given them?

This high chair and banana lark is awesome. You should try it. You sit here, and they give you food! And then you can do awful things with it, or even eat it if you've run out of other ideas! At this stage Sparrow wasn't eating too many different foods, but banana was quite popular.

All tuckered out. Resisting one's nap is such hard work. Lucky Daddy's so comfortable.

Playing with the hat going on and off. This is so exciting the legs are kicking furiously.

Pushing up, surrounded by cushions because we never know which way she might tumble.

More pushing up.

Pushing up with just a little hint of backwards.

"I was going towards that mouse. How come you're in the way?" is what that look's saying, as she slowly heads backwards and gets closer and closer to my leg.

All the interesting toys are getting further and further away, and one little baby is Feeling The Rage.

I am so cute! And it's so warm.

Sparrow decided out of all the stuffed toys that this is the one she wanted to hold. Godzilla. I was so proud.

Standoff in Tokyo, or at least in the living room. After seeing this I wanted to build Sparrow a miniature cardboard Tokyo that she and her friends could lumber through and dismember for her first birthday party. Note the strategically placed cushion just in case our little Lord of Destruction forgets to remain sitting up and goes over backwards.

"Good morning, Oma!"

"Good morning, Grandad! That's a funny noise you're making. But it's music, I think I like it, I'm not sure. Play some more, but not the sad stuff because it makes me cry."

I just liked this photo. Stark composition, but kind of cool.

Camouflage! That's the mat I made for Mimi, and Sparrow's dress blends in remarkably well.
